The AeroScope AFM is a reliable and precisely working air flow meter that can be operated with the VacuScope comfort testing devices for milking installations and with the VacuScope easy pulsation meters.
The compact design of this air flow meter makes the AeroScope AFM a perfect choice even if testing points are difficult to access.
Continuously adjustable air inlet
By simply turning the sleeve of the unit, the air inlet can be adjusted continuously. Doing so, the desired vacuum level can be choosen precisely. The maximum possible air inlet is 600 l/min or 3000 l/min, depending on the ordered device variant.
Expandable measuring range
To test larger systems with the VacuScope comfort, the measuring range of a connected AFM3000 can be extended up to 8,400 l/min using additional air flow orifices. These orifices are usually connected at multiple points so that large air flow rates are evenly distributed over the entire system. This arrangement offers advantages over test equipment offering only a single measuring tube.
Automatic vacuum correction
When measuring with a VacuScope device and a connected AeroScope unit, the measurement result is automatically adjusted to the vacuum level. This means that precise measurements are obtained directly without manual corrections.
Robust and easy to use
Both the sleeve and the shaft of the AFM are made of durable metal to ensure a long service life even in a harsh environment. The absence of a separate power supply unit reduces everyday's handling efforts. Power is supplied via the data cable through the VacuScope base unit.
