The solution for measuring high air flow rates

The AeroScope AFM is a reliable and precisely working air flow meter that can be operated with the VacuScope comfort testing devices for milking installations and with the VacuScope easy pulsation meters.

Despite its large measuring range of up to 6000 l/min, the AeroScope AFM 6000 is so compact that it can even be used at measuring locations that are difficult to access.

Continuously adjustable air inlet

By simply turning the sleeve of the unit, the air inlet can be adjusted continuously. Doing so, the desired vacuum level can be choosen precisely.

Expandable measuring range

To test larger systems with the VacuScope comfort, the measuring range of a connected AFM6000 can optionally be extended up to 10,000 l/min using additional air flow orifices (not contained in standard scope of delivery). These orifices are usually connected at multiple points so that large air flow rates are evenly distributed over the entire system. This arrangement offers advantages over test equipment offering only a single measuring tube.

Automatic vacuum correction

When measuring with a VacuScope device and a connected AeroScope unit, the measurement result is automatically adjusted to the vacuum level. Automatic correction takes place within a wide range from 25 to 50 kPa. This provides precise measurements directly without the need for manual recalculation and the use of correction tables.

Robust and easy to use

The robust construction of the device ensures a long service life even in harsh environments. Power is supplied via the data cable through the VacuScope base unit, so a separate power supply unit is not required.
